Nineteen-year-old Naya Sheika Cooper was killed in June 2008 by a drunk, illegal alien drunk driver.
Copper was walking with her 3-year-old son when Abel Gonzalez-Perez collided with her knocking her into a ditch. Gonzalez-Perez fled the scene leaving Ms. Cooper’s son to watch as his mother died.
Police captured Gonzalez-Perez, who confessed days later when they found his damaged vehicle parked at an apartment complex.
He was sentenced to eight years in prison.
