In a move without explanation, six illegal immigrants that are accused of killing American citizens have been removed from Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s “Most Wanted” list.
While it is unclear whether the matters are connected, the removal of the wanted fugitives from the “Most Wanted” list happens to coincide Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas shuttering the Victim of Immigration Crime Engagement office, also known as VOICE.
Earlier in June, DHS Secretary Mayorkas announced the ending of the VOICE office, instead replacing it with a new program called Victims Engagement and Services Line, or VESL.
