Illegal immigrant gets just five years (on taxpayer dime) in prison for killing a 24-year-old in New Jersey’s sanctuary state

NEW JERSEY– As Law Enforcement Today has continuously reported, sanctuary states across the country are harboring criminals, allowing them to remain on U.S. soil, usually to be released to commit crimes again.

Thanks to Governor Phil Murphy, New Jersey is a state with a very broad sanctuary policy, essentially inhibiting law enforcement officers from keeping the Garden State safe from illegal immigrants.

One such illegal immigrant, 49-year-old Jesus Leal-Corona was just sentenced to a mere five years in prison after killing a 24-year-old man in a drunk driving car crash.
